The First Lady of America, Michelle Obama, was pictured on Wednesday wearing a dress by luxury label Alexander McQueen.
She stunned onlookers during this photo opportunity at a state dinner to welcome President Hu Jintao of China. It seems Mrs. O had to up the style stakes on Wednesday evening as other guests included Vogue editor Anna Wintour and designer Vera Wang.
Her dramatic petal-printed red silk gown is from new McQueen designer Sarah Burton’s 2011 resort collection. The gown differs slightly from the original design, which featured large puffed-up sleeves. We think she looks amazing nevertheless!
